Airi Noshi (ノシエアリー, Noshi Earī) is a student that attends Okumura Ryōri Gakkō with the ranking of Seed.



As a child Airi is shorter then most her age is, standing only at four feet and seven inches. She has emerald green eyes, short brown hair with two strands slightly longer then the rest, as well as small pony tails held together by two small beads and fair skin.

Airi wears a dark orange Chinese blouse with yellow lines outlining it, the blouse also has a flower pattern at the bottom right side with blue, yellow, and red filling it in and is short sleeved. She also has red pants that stop a little after the knees and orange shoes that have yellow lining it. Through all of it there are some yellow, six petal flowers attached to separate parts three on the blouse, two on the pants and two also on the shoes.





Airi was born into a rather large family that hailed from the country side but her parents had moved to Tokyo before she was born, unfortunately she only got to spent three years with her parents before they died in a car crash. She was sent to live with her grandparents in Nishio, Aichi where they lived in a small house and owned a fishing boat.

She spent much of her time with her grandparents helping them clean, cook and catch fish.

Cooking Style

  • Seafood - Airi has spent much of her life near water and eating seafood from her grandparents fishing boat. As such she naturally helped her grandmother in the kitchen cooking the fish and cutting it up. In Airi's field of cooking, any form of sea life regarded as food by humans is considered seafood. Seafood prominently includes fish and shellfish. Shellfish include various species of molluscs, crustaceans, and echinoderms. Historically, sea mammals such as whales and dolphins have been consumed as food, though that happens to a lesser extent in modern times. Edible sea plants, such as some seaweeds and microalgae, are widely eaten as seafood around the world, particularly in countries situated in Asia. The range of fish commonly utilised include marine pelagic, marine demersal, diadromous and freshwater fish.


  • Curing - Airi's grandfather would preserve some of their catch for winter time to eat and taught her how to do it.




- Airi loves any type of fish when paired with rice balls. - Airi is one of the only students to be ranked Seed even though she had transferred in with no previous knowledge in cooking.
